The Asynchronous Debate Rounds (Competition) category contains all official debate round courses for the Ivy Spires Global Asynchronous Debate League (2026–27).
Each course within this category represents one complete asynchronous debate round, conducted over a structured two-week cycle that faithfully preserves the World Schools Debate (WSD) speech order while adapting it to a globally scalable asynchronous environment.
This category is the exclusive space where competitive debate activity occurs.
No instructional content, orientation materials, or judge-training resources are housed here.
Debate rounds in this category are governed by:
Strict role-based access controls
Sequential speech release using LMS restrictions
Coach-controlled video submission protocols
Formal adjudication via Tabroom
Mandatory reflection and feedback loops
The structure of this category is intentionally designed to:
Prevent cross-team content leakage
Protect student privacy and safeguarding obligations
Ensure fairness across time zones and regions
Allow clean archiving and auditing of each debate
All debate rounds follow Ivy Spires’ approved Asynchronous WSD Competition Model, which prioritises:
Listening before responding
Depth of reasoning over speed
Ethical engagement and respect
Comparative analysis and reflection
All materials, debate formats, workflows, and procedural structures contained in this category are the exclusive intellectual property of Ivy Spires.
